Game Licence (EULA)
The End User Licence Agreement: the terms on which Techplay Co., Ltd. licenses the game to you. It covers the game, not this website — the Terms of Service cover the website, and your store's own terms cover the purchase.
1. The licence
On buying the game from an authorised store, Techplay Co., Ltd. grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and playAlchemess: Tidy Up Your Potion Shop! for your own private use, on the platforms the store supports. You are buying a licence to play, not ownership of the software.
2. What you may do
- Install and play it, including on more than one machine you use.
- Play in couch co-op, online co-op and versus with other people who hold their own licence.
- Record, stream and monetise video of the game, including on YouTube, Twitch and similar services. No separate permission is needed.
- Modify the game's text files, and make, use and share mods built with the supplied tools — including the Label Maker.
3. What you may not do
- Copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the game or any part of it.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where the law says you may.
- Remove or alter copyright notices, or pass the work off as your own.
- Use it commercially beyond the video permission above without written consent.
- Cheat or exploit in a way that spoils another player's session.
4. Mods and what you make
Potion names, shelf titles and bottle words are plain text files. Anything you write in them is yours, and you keep it. If you distribute a mod, do it free of charge and do not include assets you have no right to distribute.
We give you no warranty for mods, and we may change the file formats between versions. If you share a mod publicly, you allow us to mention and link to it.
5. Online play
Online co-op and versus connect you to another player through a six-character room code. There is no account, and we do not host a matchmaking service or a lobby list. We cannot promise the service will always be available, and we may change or end it.
6. Our rights
The game, its code, art, music, text and name remain the property ofTechplay Co., Ltd. and its licensors. The soundtrack is licensed to us; the licence covers playing it in the game and does not let you extract or redistribute it.
7. Warranty and liability
The game is licensed as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and we limit our liability to the amount you paid for the licence.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer — including your rights against the store you bought from.
8. Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its policy: Steam's refund policy for Steam purchases, Epic's for Epic purchases. We cannot refund a purchase we did not take.
9. Ending the licence
The licence ends if you break these terms in a way you do not put right after being asked. Ending it does not affect a refund you are already entitled to from the store.
10. Law
Governed by the law of Thailand. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections in your own country of residence still apply.
